Rosina Food Products along with Therapeutic Horses of Saratoga sponsored a FREE hot Italian meal for 100 Veterans and their families on November 16th at the American Legion Adirondack Post 70 in Saratoga, New York. Veterans and their family were treated to Celentano Cheese ravioli, Rosina Italian style meatballs and sauce. Bread Basket Bakery provided salad and assorted desserts. In attendance was New York State Senator, Jim Tedisco and newly elected Saratoga Springs mayor, John Safford. Many Veterans had a chance to enjoy some good food and camaraderie and learn about the wonderful programs offered at Therapeutic Horses of Saratoga. Their main veteran program is the Freedom Rein project, a therapy program that provides service members with an opportunity to explore challenges and achieve goals in an environment fully immersed in working with horses who are keen observers and gentle guides. It was our turn to serve those who serve for us!
